Tutoring

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As a service to our students and families the Marion Center School District is proud to offer after school math tutoring for our 3rd through 6th grade students. After school math tutoring provides students with a great opportunity to revisit skills and techniques learned in math class while working in a small group environment with a trained instructor. Tutoring sessions last approximately 1.5 hours (starting directly after school at 3:45 and lasting until 5:15), and will focus on reinforcing the skills students are currently studying in class as well as building speed and proficiency in basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Students will begin tutoring as soon as this form is received, if your student should need to miss a tutoring session for any reason please be sure to send in a note excusing them for that day. If you’d like your student to participate in the after school math tutoring program please complete and return the form, provided below, to the Rayne Elementary Office.
